Nordic Ware’s Peach Crumble Tart is a mouthwatering dessert that combines a crisp crust’s rich buttery flavour with the fresh, juicy sweetness of ripe peaches. The tart features a delicious balance of textures, with a golden, crumbly crust topped by tender peach slices. A hint of lemon juice enhances the peaches’ natural flavours, while a layer of peach preserves adds extra sweetness and depth.
Method
- Preheat oven to 175°C.
- Blend butter, flour, sugar and cinnamon. Press the crust into a High-sided Sheet Pan. Bake for 15 minutes and let cool.
- Spread preserves onto the crust, reserving 2 Tbsp for glazing.
- Slice peaches and arrange on crust. Sprinkle with lemon juice. Bake for 20 minutes.
- Remove the tart from oven.
- Peaches vary in juiciness, so if the tart looks too moist, sprinkle with 1-2 tablespoons flour.
- Brush with reserved 2 tablespoons of preserves, sprinkle with granola and return to oven for 20 additional minutes.
- Tart can be served warm or cold.
