  • 2 cups butter
  • 4 cups flour
  • 1 1/ 2 cups powdered sugar
  • 2 teaspoons ground cinnamon
  • Filling:
  • 1 cup peach preserves
  • 4-5 large peaches
  • 2 tablespoons lemon juice
  • 1-2 tablespoons flour
  • 1/ 2 cup honey nut granola for topping

Nordic Ware’s Peach Crumble Tart is a mouthwatering dessert that combines a crisp crust’s rich buttery flavour with the fresh, juicy sweetness of ripe peaches. The tart features a delicious balance of textures, with a golden, crumbly crust topped by tender peach slices. A hint of lemon juice enhances the peaches’ natural flavours, while a layer of peach preserves adds extra sweetness and depth.

Method

  1. Preheat oven to 175°C.
  2. Blend butter, flour, sugar and cinnamon. Press the crust into a High-sided Sheet Pan. Bake for 15 minutes and let cool.
  3. Spread preserves onto the crust, reserving 2 Tbsp for glazing.
  4. Slice peaches and arrange on crust. Sprinkle with lemon juice. Bake for 20 minutes.
  5. Remove the tart from oven.
  6. Peaches vary in juiciness, so if the tart looks too moist, sprinkle with 1-2 tablespoons flour.
  7. Brush with reserved 2 tablespoons of preserves, sprinkle with granola and return to oven for 20 additional minutes.
  8. Tart can be served warm or cold.
