Did someone say chocolate? This dessert is for those with a sweet tooth and enjoys a creamy tasty dessert. This Cheesecake has a sweet white chocolate center and a hint of refreshing lime with every bite. Bake in the oven for a crispy top and dust with icing sugar for the perfect dessert to present to your friends and family.
Instructions
- Melt the white chocolate in a bain-marie or in a water bath until it is just melted (45°).
- Mix the cream cheese, lime peel, lime juice, ground fennel and icing sugar with a whisk and whisk the mixture into the melted chocolate. Whisk the egg yolks into the mixture.
- Beat the egg whites until stiff and whisk half into the mixture. Fold the remaining stiff egg whites into the dough with a dough scraper.
- Pour the mixture into a greased sauté pan.
- Bake the cake in a preheated fan-assisted oven for 55 minutes at 150°C. Cool the cake in the refrigerator. Sprinkle with icing sugar before serving
