Ancient tradition infused with modern design.
These handcrafted, high gloss Cherry stoneware teapots feature Zero Japan’s signature stainless steel lid and easy to clean the stainless steel mesh filter.Â
The teapots feature a spill-free spout that lets you pour with ease without worrying about the accidental overflow. The carefully designed stainless infuser cleverly sits suspended over the rim, keeping tea leaves clear of water after the first cup is poured, preventing over-extraction. The stainless steel lid gives the pot a modern image. It is clipped onto the pot so it will not fall off.Â
The glaze of the Zero Japan teapots is strong and smooth and makes them feel great to touch. The pots and cups are made of stoneware, which is baked at a much higher temperature and which is much stronger than earthenware. The nicely shaped handle is designed in such a way that your fingers will not touch the hot teapot when lifting it or when pouring tea. Such attention to detail has gone into hand-finishing each teapot, even pouring tea becomes peaceful.
When you see a long, thin stream of tea falling precisely into a cup, you won’t be surprised to learn that Koji (the founder of Zero Japan) carefully checks every pot. Zero Japan teapots enhance the art of brewing beautiful tea by incorporating the science of design.
The Zero Japan range of items comes in attractive, fresh and clear colours. The single colour makes it easy to match them with other cups and plates with patterns. Use them to brighten up the rest of your tableware! We stock a great variety of Zero Japan teapots in many colours and finishes. Â
