Before First Use
Wash in hot soapy water with a nylon brush. Do not use harsh scourers.
Routine Cleaning
- When cooking is complete, empty the contents and fill the pan with hot soapy water. Use a soft nylon scourer and vigorously scrub the pan, ensuring all food fat and residue is removed. Never use harsh or abrasive cloths or cleaning liquids/pastes. Dry and store appropriately.
- Whilst dishwasher safe, SCANPAN will always recommend hand washing to extend the life of the product.
Cooking
Gas
Do not apply high heat (excessive flames). Always ensure the flame does not extend up the side wall of the cookware, as this could cause damage and/or excessive heat on the handles themselves.
Gas cooktops may have uneven surfaces and should never be left unattended.
Electric/Standard
Ceramic/halogen cooktops – always make sure both the cooktop’s surface and the cookware’s base are clean before each use. Permanent marks may result if this is not done.
Electric/Induction
Induction cooktops – always make sure both the cooktop’s surface and the cookware’s base are clean before each use. Permanent marks may result if this is not done. Not all SCANPAN STRATANIUM non-stick cookware is suitable for induction technology. Refer to product packaging.
Do not use surge or boost function. This will expose your cookware to excessive and intense heat and will void your warranty
