Toughened Glass
The busy and hectic hospitality environment requires glassware to withstand wear and tear while still being stylish. Toughened glassware has been strengthened across the entire body making the glass resistant to damage at all points. It is treated to extreme heating and cooling rapidly which balances the tension stored in the glass core. This glass tension makes the glass strong and much more resistant to thermal shock. When, or if toughened glass breaks, it breaks into small fragments making it extremely unlikely to cause serious lacerations as no shards or large sharp edges are left behind.
