Made in Nara, Japan, the dishcloth is infused with Binchotan, a Japanese charcoal that is anti-odour and anti-microbial. It is the highest grade of charcoal and is prized for its natural purification properties. It features a 6-layer weave that increases water absorbency and durability. The textured surface means better cleaning power while damp. Dries quickly after use. The fabric gets softer with use. To achieve softness faster, soak in hot water for 5 minutes before first use to remove the starch coating. Colours may fade after the first wash.
