Mason Cash had been producing mixing bowls during the 1800s, but in 1901 they designed and manufactured the very first iconic Mason Cash mixing bowl. The design of the bowl has endured the test of time and has become something of a design classic. In fact, the design has barely altered since then, which is why the brand is still renowned for its innovative, classic kitchenware today.
Featuring delicate embossments of a floral meadow, the In the Meadow beautiful colour palette ranges from soft pastels to a decadent purple; each bowl design has been inspired by its own unique flower. The distinct patterned exterior and rim are designed to help bakers grip and tip the bowl, while the wide shallow shape allows for kneading within the bowl.
The In the Meadow Batter bowl measures 13cm (height) x 19cm (width) x 25cm (depth), with a capacity of 1.9 litres. Made from Chip resistant Stoneware, the batter bowl is the perfect solution for mixing batter or whisking eggs. Making it an essential item for the everyday baker. It also features a pouring lip which is ideal when pouring ingredients into cake mixes. The bowl is dishwasher, microwave and freezer safe.

The origins of Mason Cash can be traced back to a pottery operating at Church Gresley in the heart of the English ceramic industry in 1800. Church Gresley was located close to all the raw material and fuel sources required to make ceramics and had fantastic transport links to take finished goods all over the UK and the world.
