Recommended for sharpening GLOBAL knives, this device employs two ceramic wheels -one coarse, the other fine to return a dull knife to working order. For some people, learning the skill of intermediate sharpening with a ceramic or diamond rod is difficult. It is essential that you maintain your knives on a regular basis and it will be easier to maintain them for the long term. The easiest to use devices – a water wheel sharpener called MinoSharp and MinoSharp Plus. These are handheld ceramic sharpeners and no experience or skill is required to use them simply fill the reservoir with water then draw a knife seven or eight times through the coarse (white) wheel. Then draw your blade seven or eight times through the fine (pink) wheel to bring it back to life. The revolutionary ceramic wheels ensure the blade is sharpened at the correct angle. The sharpener’s plastic handle is shaped so it can be gripped firmly and safely and has a soft, rubber-like insert for comfort.
Replacement wheels are available to purchase when needed.
Note:Â Does not come with the knife as pictured. Sharpener only.
