Its unique design and colour make this cast-iron tea kettle a real eye-catcher.

Cast iron teapots were created in ancient China. The Japanese then adopted and developed them as decorative items. They symbolise the everlasting strength and unity of the world. The basket offers sufficient space for the leaves to circulate so the tea can steep quickly and obtain its ideal taste. Cast Iron Teapots make for a quality, lasting teapot

Features:

  • Including stainless steel tea strainer with fine holes: finely cut loose tea leaves cannot escape.
  • The cleverly designed anti-drip spout prevents leakage when pouring.
  • The durable cast iron material is an excellent heat conductor and retains heat for a long time.
  • The extra wide base allows you to use the Junna on all hobs (including induction). The water can, therefore, be heated over low to medium heat, and then the tea can be added.
  • The aroma of fresh tea is subtly dispersed through the small steam hole in the lid.
  • The fold-down handle makes storage neat and efficient.
  • Capacity: 1L

  • Hand wash recommended
  • Before using, rinse the teapot with boiling water to both clean and warm the cast iron
  • After each use, make sure the teapot is clean from tea leaves and patted dry to prevent the development of rust
  • In the unlikely event of rust, the pot can still be used. Clean the rusted areas with a soft brush, then fill the pot with used tea leaves and boiling water. The tannic acid from the tea will naturally react with the iron, producing a black seal, covering the rusted area. This also helps to prevent future rust.
  • Store in a cool dry place
