Use Instructions:

• Pre-warm the cafetiere by rinsing with boiling water
• Using quality coarse coffee grounds, pour two level tablespoons per cup into the cafeteria and add clean, fresh water just off the boil (for optimum results, never use re-boiled, stale or bottled water).
• Stir the coffee lightly with a non-metal utensil, then place the lid on the cafetiere with the plunger withdrawn for 4 minutes. The important pause allows time for the grounds to release the essential oils and essences that produce the full-flavoured, aromatic delights inherent in fine coffee.
• Finally, gently depress the plunger until the knob contacts the lid.
• Serve within 20 minutes.

Cleaning Instructions:

Separate the plunger assembly from the cafetiere. Clean the plunger assembly with warm water and detergent. A dish brush may help to remove any coffee residue. Clean the pot with a mild detergent, rinse and dry thoroughly. Avoid abrasive cleaners and scourers when hand washing. Wipe dry with a soft cloth. Dishwasher safe.
