Directions for Use:
- Pre-rinse the Café Press carafe with boiling water
- Using quality coarse coffee grounds pour two level tablespoons per 125ml into the carafe and add clean fresh water, just off the boil
- Stir the coffee lightly with a non-metal utensil, then place the lid on the carafe with the plunger withdrawn for 4 minutes. The important pause allows time for the grounds to release the essential oils and essences which produce the full-flavoured, aromatic delights inherent in fine coffee.
- Finally, gently depress the plunger until the knob contacts the lid. Serve within 20 minutes.
Cleaning Instructions:
Separate the infuser and lid and frame from the glass beaker. Clean the filter with warm water and detergent. A dish brush may help to remove any coffee residue. Clean the glass, lid and frame with a mild detergent, rinse and dry thoroughly. Avoid abrasive cleaners and scourers when hand washing. Wipe dry with a soft cloth. Carafe is dishwasher safe.
Caution: Do not overfill the carafe and always have the spout facing away from you when depressing the plunger. Keep out of reach of children when in use.
