CAUTION: Do not overfill the teapot. Do not place it on a hot stove plate. It is not suitable for use in a microwave oven. When in use, keep it out of the reach of children.

Use Instructions

  • Pre-warm the teapot by rinsing it with boiling water.
  • Spoon one teaspoon of tea per person and one for the pot into the infuser.
  • Pour fresh water off the boil through the infuser into the teapot and brew to the desired strength. (For optimum results, never use re-boiled or stale water).
  • Leave the brew to steep for a few minutes. This important pause allows the tea to release its rich, full-bodied flavour.
  • Serve tea within ten minutes of reaching the desired brew strength.

 

Care Instructions

  • To clean the teapot, separate the infuser and lid.
  • Clean the infuser with warm water and washing-up liquid. A washing-up brush may help remove tea residue.
  • Avoid abrasive cleaners and scourers when hand washing.
  • Wipe dry with a soft cloth.
  • Dishwasher safe.
