Air Fryer – Easy Roast Salmon and Asparagus

  • 4 salmon fillets each fillet weighing about 100-113g
  • 1 bunch asparagus ends trimmed
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 2 tbsp butter melted
  • 1 tbsp honey
  • 1 tsp Dijon mustard
  • 1/2 tsp herbs de Provence mix
  • 1/2 lemon - thinly sliced

METHOD

  1. In a medium bowl, whisk together melted butter, honey, dijon mustard, and 1/2 teaspoon herbs de Provence mix.
  2. Place the salmon fillets in the Air Fryer basket and brush the butter mixture onto the salmon fillets.
  3. Sprinkle salt and pepper on the salmon fillets and place the lemon slices on them.
  4. Close the Air Fryer basket, Select- ROAST- 200°C -15 minutes.
  5. Press Start.
  6. Once the Air Fryer shows the ‘ADD FOOD’ sign, open the Air Fryer basket and place the salmon into the Air Fryer basket.
  7. Close the basket. 
  8. Meanwhile, place the asparagus on a cooking pan, and toss with olive oil, salt, and pepper. Put it aside.
  9. Once the AF shows the ‘Turn Food’ sign, remove the Air Fryer basket and arrange asparagus in the Air Fryer basket.
  10. Close the Air Fryer basket and let it continue to cook.
  11. Once the cooking cycle ends, remove the Air Fryer basket and let the food rest for a couple of minutes.
  12. Serve the salmon fillets with asparagus evenly on each serving plate.
