This recipe can be served hot over the winter period or chilled over ice to refresh your palate. Perfect for sipping around the pool or at barbecues.
INSTRUCTIONS:
- In a Le Creuset Stockpot, brew tea in 4 litres of water. Add juices.
- Make the simple syrup. In a le Creuset 16cm 3-Ply Stainless Steel Saucepan set over medium heat, combine equal parts sugar and water. Stir until sugar is completely dissolved. Remove from heat and pour into a jar with cinnamon, cloves and orange peel. Sweeten the tea mixture with simple syrup to taste.
Cook’s notes:Â Use between 8 to 10 tea bags, depending on the tea’s strength.
You can try different flavours by replacing the juice. For instance Pomegranate juice would make for another delicious and refreshing summer drink.
If you wish to prepare this for larger quantities of people, please double the ingredients and use a Le Creuset 28cm/15.1L Stockpot.
