LorAnn’s concentrated essential oils and flavourings have been an integral part of American candy making and baking for over 46 years – for both the professional and the “home chef”. Unlike diluted extracts, they are 3-4 times stronger than others on the market. LorAnn’s flavouring contain little or no alcohol and will handle the heat in cooking and baking better – a little goes a long way. LorAnn’s super strength flavourings, are specially formulated for optimal results in hard candies, chocolates, fudges, icings, baking and specialty confections.
For applications where just a hint of flavour is needed, we suggest adding flavour by the drop until the desired intensity is achieved. When substituting the LorAnn flavours for extracts, use 1/4 to 1/2 teaspoon for 1 teaspoon of extract. 1 dram = 1 teaspoon (approx.)
